Hearts and Horses Day – Valentine’s Celebration & Horse Ranch Field Trip

Students can exchange Valentines cards, create crafts, and learn all about performance horses.  Dwayne Hildreth, will be hosting our field trip and providing the following: an explanation on what he does with his horses; a description of the types of horses they are (breed, purpose, uses, etc.) plus horse care, feeding, and maintenance; a demonstration on tack, equipment, grooming, and saddling; a demonstration on warm-up, exercises, routines, and patterns; and a time for Q & A.  We will be preparing the students ahead of time so they will be able to have a background on what he does and ask great questions.
